10 Indian Thriller Short Films That will Keep You On The Edge Of Your Seat
If you’re into watching amazing movies but don’t have the patience to watch long movies for hours, you must have watched a lot of short films. YouTube is full of thousands of such movies, but do you even want to waste those 10-20 precious minutes watching a film that you thought would be good but turns out to be shitty? I would never wish such doom upon a fellow short film lover. So here my hard-earned list of 10 Indian thriller short films that will flabbergast you, AND save your time that goes into shortlisting!
1. Kriti – Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte & Neha Sharma featured short film directed by Shirish Kunder
A story that will really, actually keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning till the end! The realistic acting makes the story even convincing.
2. Anniversary (2012)- Short Film (AWARD WINNING CINEMATOGRAPHY)
The sad story of a marriage about to end, that turns into a weird story you don’t know how to deal with.
3. THE WEDDING SAREE – Hindi Short Film
The amazing way a housewife’s life takes turn, sewn into an intriguing short story.
4. Ahalya – Sujoy Ghosh
Be ready to be intrigued every second of the next 14 minutes of your life with this tale of seduction and deception.
5. Crimes Of Passion – Award Winning Short Film (2014)
The film shows how things start to get out of hand when a man finds love and attraction out of his failing marriage. The best thing about the film is the way of storytelling. I bet you won’t regret watching it.
6. THE ROAD TRIP feat. Nimrat Kaur | Tahir Raj Bhasin
What can be better than a short film that has an insanely amazing plot, wonderful direction, and Nimrat Kaur!
7. Inbox – Short Film
A romantic, okay very romantic, yet a very weird, yet cute short film that won that week’s award for the best short film in the ‘fantasy’ catagory.
8. Sujata ft. Huma Qureshi
A super inspiring story of a young woman who fights all the odds in life and takes an extreme step you and I would be freaked out to see. Huma Qureshi has obviously done a great job.
9. Gutthi (The Riddle) – Award Winning Suspense Short Film | Pocket Films
New actors, but amazing story and acting skills. Your mind will (figuratively) blow off towards the ending, especially the last scene.

10. Machis Hai Kya | Award winning thriller short film 2015 | Vrihat Entertainments
As simple as the name makes it look, the film is as intriguing and creepy. You won’t want to pause for a minute in between while watching it.
