US tsunami alert issued after tsunami threatens 7.1 magnitude on Mitanana island

Earthquake magnitude 7.1 degrees on the Richter scale struck the region 66 km southeast of the city Bobos in the Philippines , said the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The U.S. tsunami alert was issued after a magnitude 7.1 earthquake shook the island of Mindanao in the Philippines.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that harm and consequential convulsions were normal, as per CNN.

The tremor was at a profundity of 65.6 km, USGS said.

The U.S. Public Weather Service said there was no danger of a torrent for the U.S. West Coast from the quake. Hawaii Emergency Management said Hawaii confronted no torrent danger.
