Active cases more than 15 lakhs

New Delhi. The scope of the third wave of corona virus has spread across the country. The rate of infection has reached above 16 percent and the number of active cases has increased to more than 1.5 million. After eight months, the number of active cases has increased so much. Maharashtra has the highest number of active cases, close to three and a half lakh, followed by West Bengal with 1.5 lakh active cases. In the capital Delhi also, the active case has exceeded 93 thousand. In Karnataka also there are around 1.5 lakh active cases, while in Tamil Nadu the number of active cases has reached one lakh 20 thousand. corona virus active cases

New cases of Corona are also increasing rapidly. Despite less testing on Saturday, the number of new infected remained close to 2.5 lakh. For the fourth consecutive day, more than two lakh new infected were found across the country. Due to the five states of the country – Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, the number of infected people has increased rapidly across the country. The good thing is that now the number of patients recovering is increasing in all the states. Patients are also getting discharged from the hospital early due to change in the guidelines of ICMR.

However, in the national capital Delhi, there was a slight decrease in the number of patients for the second consecutive day on Saturday. On Saturday, 20,718 new patients were found in 24 hours and 30 people died. A day earlier on Friday, 24,383 patients were found. For the second consecutive day, the number of corona infected has decreased due to lack of testing. Because the infection on Saturday was equal to Friday i.e. 30.64 percent. On the other hand, in Mumbai, for the third consecutive day on Saturday, corona cases decreased and in 24 hours 10,661 new patients were found and 11 people died.

The number of patients found in Maharashtra decreased for the second consecutive day in 24 hours on Saturday, but the number of cases continued to increase in the states of South India. In Karnataka, the number of infected reached above 30 thousand on Saturday. 32,793 new patients were found in the state in 24 hours. In Tamil Nadu on Saturday, 23,989 new patients were found in 24 hours and 11 people died. On Saturday, 5,525 new patients were found in Chhattisgarh and eight people died.

On Saturday, 17,755 new patients were found in Kerala and 17 patients died. On Saturday, 3,390 new patients were found in Assam and four people died. On Saturday, 1,795 new patients were found in Chandigarh. In Goa, 3,274 new patients were found in 24 hours and four patients died. The figures of many states were not updated till late night. After their figures come, the number of infected people can go up to 2.5 lakh for the fourth consecutive day.
