Veterans of the cricket world arrived to watch the final of WPL 2023, apart from Sachin Tendulkar, Mumbai Indians team saw the match

Many histories were created in the final match of the Women’s Premier League 2023. In this match, for the first time in the world, a league organized for women was successfully organized. The Mumbai team captured the trophy for the first time in the final match played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. During this match, the veterans also reached to support their favorite team.

In the final match, Delhi Capitals scored 131 runs for nine wickets with the help of a 52-run partnership for the tenth wicket between Shikha Pandey and Radha Yadav. But the partnership of Shikha and Radha also could not get Delhi the trophy.

In response, Mumbai scored 134 runs for three wickets with three balls to spare. Skiver Brunt handled one end and hit seven fours in his 55-ball innings. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also played an innings of 37 runs in 39 balls. In the end, Amelia Kerr scored an unbeaten 14 in eight balls to lead the team to victory. Earlier, the bowlers of Mumbai performed amazingly.

Delhi’s score was 74 for three in the 11th over. After this, six wickets fell in the space of five runs and the score was 79 for nine after the 16th over. Mumbai’s overseas bowlers did a stellar job with Hayley Mathews taking three wickets for just five runs in four overs while Isabelle Wong took three wickets for 42 runs and Amelia Kerr two wickets for 18 runs. For Delhi, Shikha and Radha shared an unbroken 52-run partnership to take the team past 100 runs. Shikha scored 27 not out in 17 balls and Radha scored 27 not out in 12 balls. Shikha hit three fours and a six in her innings while Radha hit two fours and two sixes.
