Amidst the election turmoil in UP, ‘AAP’ MP Sanjay Singh was threatened with death, shared phone numbers by tweeting

Lucknow | Amidst the ruckus of the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha member and party in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, Sanjay Singh has received death threats. Sanjay Singh has informed him that he has received death threats on his mobile. After which the Gomtinagar police station of Lucknow has registered a case on the complaint of his threat.

Giving information about the threat by tweeting, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that, I have received death threat again, maybe some people want to kill me, no problem, but I am those cowardly goons. I want to tell that I will not stop raising my voice against crime and corruption. Lucknow Police should take cognizance of this number, the call came from this number and the call was diverted to my colleague Ajit. Sanjay Singh has also shared the number from which he received the threat. Apart from this, MP Singh has also shared the photo of the copy of the FIR lodged at the Gomtinagar police station along with the tweet.

Police is investigating the matter
Lucknow Police Commissioner DK Thakur said in this regard that a case was registered at Gomtinagar police station in connection with the threat to Sanjay Singh. The number from which the MP has received the threat is being investigated.
