MS Dhoni’s heart, despite being the captain of Team India, Mahi slept on the floor of the hotel room for Hardik Pandya

Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the humble and down-to-earth personalities both on and off the field. MS Dhoni is still known for his kindness. No matter how big a mistake any player makes in the field, Mahi does not lose his patience. Dhoni never shivers behind the limelight, preferring to remain in the background even after leading Chennai Super Kings to their fourth Indian Premier League (IPL) title last year. Team India’s all-rounder and Dhoni’s former teammate Hardik Pandya has now exposed another example of the generosity of the CSK captain. ( ms dhoni dildari )

Mahi left the bed for Pandya

Hardik has been seen several times off the field with Dhoni and in 2020, the all-rounder surprised his former captain by visiting his home in Ranchi on his 39th birthday. Their strong bond can be gauged from the fact that in 2019, Dhoni even left his bed for the former Mumbai Indians all-rounder in New Zealand. Three years ago, Hardik was delayed in New Zealand due to suspension following his appearance on Koffee With Karan and there was no place available for him. Dhoni then came to the all-rounder’s rescue. During a conversation with ESPN Cricinfo website, Pandya also revealed that Dhoni does not sleep on the bed.

MS was the one who understood me from the beginning..how I work, what kind of person I am, what are the things I don’t like, everything. When I was picked for the New Zealand series (in January 2019, after the suspension was revoked), there were initially no hotel rooms for Pandya in New Zealand. But then I get a call saying, ‘You come now. MS has told us that I do not sleep in bed (in any case). He will sleep on my bed and I will sleep on the floor…. Pandya told ESPNcricinfo. The all-rounder made his white-ball debut under Dhoni in 2016. In January 2016, he made his three-match T20I debut against Australia. Nine months later, Pandya donned his maiden ODI cap in the opening game against New Zealand in Dharamsala. ( ms dhoni dildari )
