Australian OpenAustralian Open: Bopanna and Sania in mixed doubles semi-finals

Melbourne. Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza stormed into the Australian Open mixed doubles semi-finals after getting a walkover over Jelena Ostapenko and David Vega Hernandez. The Indian pair is yet to drop a set in the mixed doubles category. They will now face the winner of the match between third seeds Desire K and Neil Skupski and Taylor Townsend and Jamie Murray. The pair of Bopanna and Matthew Ebden had made a first round exit in the men’s doubles.

Whereas Sania and Kazakhstan’s Anna Danilina lost in the second round of women’s doubles. Ramkumar Ramanathan and Mexico’s Miguel Angel Reyes Varela, Yuki Bhambri and Saketh Myneni also lost in the first round. Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and N Sriram Balaji lost in the second round.
