FIFA World Cup: England beat Wales 3-0 to enter Round of 16

Two goals from Mark Rashford and one from Phil Foden helped England progress to the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup with a 3–0 victory over Wales. England coach Gareth Southgate decided to include both players in the starting lineup for the team’s final match in Group B. Both of them also lived up to the expectations and scored three goals together. England team will now face Senegal in the round of 16.

Wales were eliminated from the World Cup by finishing last in their group. After the draw with America there was talk of a change in the team so the coach included Rashford and Foden in a new looking attack and this strategy proved to be effective for the team. Rashford scored in the 50th and 68th minutes while Foden scored in the 51st minute. Wales captain Gareth Bale was forced out of the match at half-time with an injury.
