The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the selection of a 14-member team for this Asia Cup. India’s first match is to be against Hong Kong.
This time, the BCCI has appointed batting all-rounder Shweta Sehrawat to lead the 14-member Indian cricket team in the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup to be held in Hong Kong from June 12. India A team will play its first match against Hong Kong on 13th June. At the same time, another important match of the Indian team is with Pakistan. This match will be held on June 17, on which everyone’s eyes will be fixed.
In this regard, the BCCI said in an official statement, “The All India Women’s Selection Committee on Friday selected the India A team for the upcoming ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup.” The eight teams in the tournament will be divided into two groups. India is in Group A along with Hong Kong, Thailand A, Pakistan A while Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates are in Group B. The final of this tournament will be played on June 21.
