East Bengal beat Jamshedpur FC 3-1 in Indian Super League

Two goals from skipper Clyton Silva helped East Bengal beat Jamshedpur FC 3-1 in an Indian Super League (ISL) football match here on Sunday. Suhair Vadakkepedika (2nd minute) gave East Bengal the lead early in the match. After this, Silva (in the 26th and 58th minutes) sealed the team’s victory by scoring one goal each in both the halves of the match.

The team’s winger Mahesh Naurem Singh played the role of an assistant in all these three goals, which earned him the player of the match award. The only goal for Jamshedpur was scored by Emmanuel-Thomas in the 40th minute of the match.
