New Delhi | The central government seems to be in a mood to give big relief to its employees before the budget 2022. According to the news, the Central Government is preparing to take a decision soon regarding the Dearness Allowance Hike of the employees. If this happens, then there can be a big increase in the minimum salary of central employees and the minimum basic salary of the employees will increase from 18 thousand to 26 thousand rupees. If a report is to be believed, it is likely to be discussed in the next cabinet meeting.

47.14 lakh employees will get benefit
There is a demand of National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery that one time settlement of DA arrears outstanding for 18 months should also be done under 7th pay scale. In this regard, discussions have been held between JCM, Department of Personnel and Training and Ministry of Finance on arrears, after which it is expected that the Central Government may increase Dearness Allowance soon. If this happens, 47.14 lakh employees of the Center and 68.62 lakh pensioners will be benefited from it.

DA may increase from 31 to 34 percent
According to the news, it is believed that after the decision of the government, the DA may increase from 31 to 34 percent. If the basic salary increases from 18 thousand to 26 thousand rupees, then the dearness allowance will also increase. Not only this, apart from this, the fitment factor can also be decided in the budget 2022. After getting approval from the cabinet, it will be included in the budget expenditure.
