Bhim Army aligns with SP

Lucknow. In a major development in view of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Bhim Army leader Chandrashekhar has announced an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. Bhim Army’s Chandrashekhar met Akhilesh Yadav before joining the SP along with six MLAs of former ministers Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharam Singh Saini in Lucknow on Friday. This was his second meeting with Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, after which he made a big announcement of coordination.

Chandrashekhar said- We have also made an alliance with Samajwadi Party in this assembly election. We will defeat BJP now after this alliance. Soon, together with Akhilesh Yadav, we will also decide the seats. He insisted that the Bhim Army has an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. It is worth mentioning that Chandrashekhar has a strong hold in the Dalit class in western Uttar Pradesh. Popularly known as a youth and firebrand leader, Chandrashekhar is very active in Lucknow to Meerut and Saharanpur.

He was in touch with Congress for some time. But later he started talking of alliance with Samajwadi Party. It is being told that there is confusion over some seats with the SP in western Uttar Pradesh. Once that issue is resolved, the candidates will be announced. Keep in mind that there are big faces of the backward classes in alliance with the Samajwadi Party, but there was a lack of big faces of the Depressed Classes. This has been accomplished by the alliance of Chandrashekhar’s party. The Samajwadi Party is also considering the alliance with Chandrashekhar’s party as a cut of the BSP.
