‘I haven’t seen cricket for a year’, Imran said – Babar Azam can overtake Virat Kohli

Speaking to a local reporter, Khan claimed that though he hasn’t seen much cricket recently, but from what he has seen, it is certain that Babar can easily break the Indian legend’s record. Khan said, “I haven’t seen cricket recently, but I believe Virat Kohli and Babar Azam belong to the same class. Babar Azam can easily surpass Virat Kohli. From what I have seen, he That’s just as good.”

Babar Azam can go ahead
Khan also said that he recommended Babar as the captain of the national team to the then chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Ehsan Mani. Khan’s claim that Babar can surpass Virat Kohli is lofty but not without merit. The 28 year old’s exceptional batting ability, maturity and work ethic collectively contributed to Babar’s ability to beat the record set by Kohli. Imran said that he heard that India had lost to Australia in the WTC final. Let us tell you that Imran Khan has been a veteran player of Pakistan. He has also been the Prime Minister. But for the last one year, time is not ticking for him.

India and Pakistan face off on October 15
The Indian team will open its campaign in the ODI World Cup against Australia on October 8 in Chennai, followed by a match against Pakistan a week later in Ahmedabad. The 11 cities that have been selected to host the World Cup include Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Pune, Lucknow and Dharamshala. Hosts India will play their league matches in nine cities including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The match with Pakistan will be on October 15. Whereas Pakistan’s league matches will be held in five cities.
