BJP President JP Nadda on UP tour from today to address meetings of booth presidents

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda is on a two-day tour of the polling state from Monday to address booth presidents for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. There will also be meetings in Gorakhpur and Kanpur. JP Nadda has been given the areas of Gorakhpur and Kanpur. The entire Uttar Pradesh has been divided into regions and three top leaders have been assigned two regions each for elections. Home Minister Amit Shah has been given Braj and Paschim to oversee the preparations for the elections. While Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been assigned to Kashi and Awadh. ( jp nadda up tour )

This will be JP Nadda’s UP tour

On Monday, at 12:15 pm, Nadda will offer prayers at the Gorakshanath temple, followed by addressing a convention of booth presidents at Gorakhpur’s Champa Devi Park from 3 pm onwards. After this, Nadda will interact with the families of Vantangia community from 4.30 pm . Nadda will reach Lucknow at 6.30 pm. After reaching Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur at 11:15 pm on November 23, he will offer prayers at Baba Namdev Gurdwara. He will also inaugurate the party’s regional office from Juhi Saket Nagar in Kanpur. The party president will also inaugurate seven district offices. From 2 o’clock in the afternoon, he will address the convention of booth presidents from Railway Ground Nirala Nagar, Kanpur.

BJP has already appointed election in-charge and election co-in-charge. Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Anurag Thakur and four other members have been entrusted with the responsibility. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Shobha Karandlaje, Annapurna Devi, party general secretary Saroj Pandey, former Haryana minister Capt Abhimanyu and Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Thakur have been made co-incharges. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is monitoring the work. Uttar Pradesh is the first state where the Prime Minister visited for three days. Earlier this month, PM Modi visited Sultanpur, where he inaugurated the Purvanchal Expressway. He later visited Mahoba and Jhansi for the event. ( jp nadda up tour )
