ICC World Cup 2023: India-Pakistan’s great match will be held on this day, Team India’s first match against Australia

The ICC World Cup 2023 is being organized in India. According to the information, this World Cup will be played later this year in October and November. In the midst of all this, big information about the World Cup 2023 is coming out. According to a report, there may be a high-voltage cricket match between India and Pakistan on 15 October. As per the information, the tournament opener will be played between last edition’s finalists England and New Zealand on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final of the tournament will also be held on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma will play its first match against Australia.

 

India’s opening match of the tournament will be against five-time winners Australia. In all likelihood, it will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. As per the tentative schedule prepared so far, 1992 World Cup winners Pakistan will play their matches in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. However, the BCCI is yet to release the schedule for the same and is likely to do so after the Indian Premier League. It is learned that Pakistan has agreed to tour India for the tournament regardless of the ongoing impasse over the Asia Cup. However, he has expressed some objections. PCB has objection to playing match against India in Ahmedabad.

 

Apart from Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Rajkot, Raipur and Mumbai are the designated locations. The Wankhede in Mumbai, which hosted the final of the 2011 ODI World Cup, is most likely to host the semi-finals. Like the 2019 edition of the World Cup, the matches will be played in a round-robin format, where each team will play against the other at least once, and then at the end of nine matches for each team, there will be top four teams.
