Case filed against Kangana Ranaut for controversial statement on Sikh community, may be called for questioning

Mumbai | FIR on Kangana Ranaut: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who has always been in the news for controversies, is once again seen embroiled in a ruckus. Mumbai Police has registered a case against Kangana Ranaut in connection with the controversial statement regarding the Sikh community after the withdrawal of the agricultural laws of the Central Government.

The sentiments of the Sikh community were hurt by Kangana’s statement.
FIR on Kangana Ranaut: According to sources, Mumbai Police can call Kangana Ranaut for questioning anytime after the case is registered. This case against Kangana, who has become a Controversy Queen, has been registered at Khar Police Station in Mumbai under Section 295A of the IPC for hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community and making controversial remarks against them.

Orders to register a case had to be given to the Home Minister of Maharashtra
FIR on Kangana Ranaut: People of the Sikh community, led by Akali leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, met Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil to register a case against Kangana Ranaut. After which, seeing the seriousness of the matter, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil had ordered to register a Mumbai Police case. Following the order of the Home Minister, the Mumbai Police registered a case against Kangana at Khar Police Station.
