New Delhi. After the crushing defeat in the assembly elections of five states including Uttar Pradesh, the Congress has started the exercise to strengthen the organization. The suspense of election strategist Prashant Kishor’s entry in Congress has also ended. However, before leaving, he had given a free advice to the Congress. He had said that the Congress needs a strong will to overcome the structural problems that have been rooted in it.
According to a special report of Hindi news website ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, after Prashant Kishor refused to join Congress, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra became active and discussed the issue of Uttar Pradesh with party secretaries and senior leaders. . In such a situation, it is believed that two formulas are circulating within the Congress regarding the post of President in Uttar Pradesh. Through which the party will be strengthened.
Formula number one
According to the report, Congress can appoint different presidents for different zones by dividing Uttar Pradesh into 4 zones. Through this, the party will be able to communicate directly with the workers up to the booth level in every zone. However, more than this formula, other formulas are being discussed.
Formula number two
Congress will appoint only one president in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the party is contemplating to appoint 4 working presidents for different zones. It is believed that with the appointment of the working president, the path of dialogue within the party will become more accessible and the organization will be strengthened from the booth level to the top level.
In such a situation, the working president will have a direct dialogue with the state president and then the state president will be able to put his point before the party high leadership. There is a lot of discussion on its formula and a Brahmin and a Dalit leader are leading in the race for the post of state president.
The names of senior Congress leaders PL Punia and Pramod Tiwari are leading in the race for the post of state president. PL Punia, a former chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, has gone to the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. While Pramod Tiwari is the Brahmin face of the party from Uttar Pradesh and has also been a Rajya Sabha MP.
