New Delhi | Delhi COVID 19 Updates: A day before Christmas, there has been a corona blast in the capital of the country, Delhi. Christmas festival will be celebrated in the country and abroad on 25th December, but before that, a large number of new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi. Which has increased the concern of the health department even more. In Delhi, 180 new corona cases have been confirmed in 24 hours, which is the highest since June 22.

Delhi COVID 19 Updates: So far 14 lakh 42 thousand 813 cases of corona infection have been reported in Delhi. Out of which 25 thousand 103 patients have been taken by Corona. But 14 lakh 16 thousand 928 patients, keeping their spirits high, have defeated the corona virus and returned home after recovering. However, 782 infected people are still being treated in Delhi. Not only this, Corona’s new variant Omicron has also spread panic in the capital Delhi. So far 67 infected people of Omicron have been exposed here.

Achievement achieved in vaccination
Amidst the increasing cases of Corona, Delhi has made a big achievement regarding the vaccine being put in place for the war with Corona. Under the Vaccine Campaign, 100% of all eligible people in Delhi have received the first dose of the vaccine. According to the data released by the Delhi government, 1 crore 48 lakh 27 thousand 546 eligible people have been given the first dose of vaccine till 8 pm on Thursday in Delhi.
