Cricket Update: Ashwin and Iyer’s partnership gave India a three-wicket win
Mirpur. Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin stitched an unbroken 71-run eighth-wicket partnership to guide India to a three-wicket win over Bangladesh in the second and final Test cricket match here on Sunday. Chasing a target of 145, India lost three quick wickets in the morning to be reduced to 74 for seven.

Iyer and Ashwin took over from here. Ashwin remained unbeaten on 42 and Iyer 29. With the efforts of these two, India made a 2-0 clean sweep in the two-match series and consolidated their position in the World Test Championship. India won the first Test match played in Chittagong by 188 runs.
