Cricket Update: Former England cricketer Flintoff injured during shooting

London. Former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff was injured while shooting for BBC show ‘Top Gear’ and had to be hospitalised. The 45-year-old Flintoff, who turned TV presenter, suffered the injury while shooting at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey. The BBC said in a statement: “Freddie was injured in an accident while filming Top Gear this morning. He has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The BBC said his injury was not life-threatening. Flintoff, who played 79 Tests and 141 ODIs for England, retired from international cricket in 2009.
