Delhi Police arrests those who misbehaved with KKR captain Nitish Rana’s wife after complaining on social media

KKR captain Nitish Rana’s wife was followed and allegedly harassed by two bike-borne youths on May 4. Taking action in this matter, Delhi Police has arrested two persons. Delhi Police has shared this information on Saturday. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ghanshyam Bansal said that on Friday, a complaint was received through e-mail at Kirti Nagar police station, in which the complainant alleged that at around 8.30 pm on Thursday night, he along with his driver had gone to Chhatarpur in his car. was going back to her home. During this, two people riding a bike crossed his car at a high speed near the red light in Kirti Nagar area and stopped their motorcycle in front of his car.
 
According to the complainant, both of them then started staring at him and ransacked his car. Bansal said that in this case, sections 354 (assault with intent to outrage the modesty of a woman or use of force with criminal intent), 354D (stalking), 427 (fifty rupees or A case was registered under sections 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation). During investigation, CCTV footage of the area was analyzed and the accused were identified as Chaitanya Shivam (18), resident of Pandav Nagar and Vivek (18), resident of Patel Nagar.
 
The DCP said that the accused were arrested from their residence and further investigation is underway. A purported video of the incident is going viral on social media, in which two men on a motorcycle are seen chasing the victim’s car. However, PTI could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.
 
According to the information, Nitish Rana’s wife shared the information by posting it on the social media site Instagram. He had also complained to the Delhi Police about the incident of misbehavior, on which the police gave him a very surprising reply and said that if you have reached home safely, then let the boys go.
