Delhi to Lucknow in less than 4 hours, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will soon announce new expressway

Uttar Pradesh is at the center of many development projects by the present government. Several airports and expressways/highways have been inaugurated or announced in the recent past. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has now said that a new expressway link will be built to connect Delhi and Lucknow. Due to which the travel time between the two cities is expected to be reduced to three and a half hours. Gadkari further said that the foundation stone of the proposed new expressway link would be laid in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the next 10-12 days. He said that we have planned to connect Delhi and Lucknow. (Announcement of new expressway)

Beginning of a new era of Smart and Green Highways in India

Nitin Gadkari made the announcement during the inauguration of Intelligent Transport System (ITS) on Eastern Peripheral Expressway and further said that it is the beginning of a new era of Smart and Green Highways in India. The Road Transport and Highways Minister claimed that after the completion of the new expressway (link), we will be able to cover the distance between Delhi and Lucknow in three and a half hours.

Dedication of Delhi-Meerut Expressway to the public (Announcement of new expressway)

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari dedicated the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) to the public. The 82 km long DME connects Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi with Meerut. Addressing a gathering, the Minister for Road Transport and Highways said that the government has constructed highways using the world’s latest technology. Gadkari also inaugurated the Intelligent Traffic System Control Room. Which will oversee the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and DME so that the public can enjoy safe travel.
