Manchester City celebrate victory with parade on open bus in rain

Manchester. Drenched in rain and champagne, Manchester City players celebrated winning the Champions League football title with an open bus parade through the city amid thousands of fans. The start of the parade was delayed by bad weather and rain but two blue buses bearing the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles, carrying the players and Cigar PJ manager Pep Guardiola, rolled through the streets of the city.

His T-shirt read, “Treble winners.” Guardiola said, “The parade had to happen in this rain, otherwise it’s not Manchester.” We needed rain, not sunshine and this is perfect. Won the Champions League Final by defeating 0. This is their first Champions League title but the team have already won five Premier League titles and another FA Cup in six years.
