Dortmund beat Leipzig 2-1 to top Bundesliga points table

Berlin. Goals from captain Marco Reus and Emre Can helped Dortmund beat Leipzig 2-1 on Friday in a Bundesliga (Germany’s top domestic football league) match and move to the top of the table. Reus scored a penalty in the 21st minute to give the team the lead before Cain doubled it in the 39th minute.
Emil Forsberg scored the only goal of the match for Leipzig in the 74th minute of the match. With the win, Dortmund’s team moved to the top of the table with a three-point lead over Bayern Munich. It was Reus’ 159th goal for Dortmund. With this, he equaled Michael Zorc’s record. Only Adi Preller (177) has scored more goals for the team than both of them.
