That is, the year 2022 has brought a hectic schedule – for actress-producer Dr. Madhu Saxena! I meet Dr. Madhu Saxena in his office. Writer-director Chintu Maheshwari introduces me by speaking the sensation of the year! In front of me is a settled, mature personality woman – who after a while seems to have stepped into the city of films.
“I have been a business woman. I was fond of acting.. So along with business, I have been doing theater as well. She tells- Have done theater in Delhi and Mumbai. Pranjal Chhatriya ji is my acting guru, I have learned a lot from him. One of my play was ‘Kasak’ written by Amrita Pritam which was a mono play of 45 minutes, my acting in this play was discussed a lot. The web series “GST” and “DivineZone” are of 8-8 episodes. Whose she is also a producer and is also acting in them. In ‘GST’ she plays a doctor who is a high profile lady. Organ is involved in selling. He has connections with big leaders. ‘Divine Zone’ is a suspense series. There is a lady in the cemetery…something like this.
“Right now I won’t say anything about these series.” she says, “Everything will be planned and told. My next two web series which are going to start one is ‘Race’ in which I am playing the role of a journalist and the other is ‘Udaan’ – in which the character of a high profile class lady. I am doing a film – ‘Ammi ji’ which is in Kashmir back ground, based on Article 370 of the Constitution. There is a project of Rana Bhatia ji, I am going to work in it.”
The life of Dr. Madhu Saxena associated with Indore has been full of diversities. Marriage while studying and completing PhD after marriage and then joining business. “I have been able to do this because I have got full support from my family and husband.” she tells, “I was interested in fashion designing. I have been a dress designer at the ‘Khazana’ boutique in Taj, Delhi. I have traveled abroad 30 times for my work (designing). I have eve’s boutique and eve’s institute in Indore.”
How was the beginning of your career in Bollywood?
He was fond of acting. He used to do theater too. When the work was all set, I thought that now I should join the films completely. By the way, I have acted in the serial “Chulo Aasman” for DD’s Kisan channel. Worked in the episodic role of “Savdhaan India”. In this, I participated in the shooting in Bhopal.
How do you want to roll?
In which there is a chance to pass something. In my web series, I am working according to my personality and the choice of outside projects will also be the same. Whether the role is positive or negative, there should be an opportunity to show expression to do something. I want to enjoy acting and production (Shree Ganesh Films) is my business.
