Suryakumar Yadav continues to dominate in T20 rankings, holds number one position with 890 points, Rizwan far behind

India’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav continues to dominate the T20 rankings. Recently, Team India won the three-match series against New Zealand by 1-0. In this series, Suryakumar Yadav batted very fast. He also scored a century in the second match. He was awarded the man of the match in this series. According to the latest rankings released by the ICC, Suryakumar Yadav has 890 points and remains at number one in the T20 rankings. At number two is Pakistan batsman Mohammad Rizwan who has 836 points. Yadav played a brilliant unbeaten 111 during the second match at Mount Maunganui. After this he had reached a score of 895 points.

 

An innings of just 13 runs in the third and final T20I at Napier saw Yadav’s rating drop to 890 points, but he is still ranked number one in T20Is with Rizwan 54 points behind him.New Zealand’s Devon Conway is at number three with 788 and he has gone ahead of Babar Azam. Babar Azam has 778. Indian opener Ishan Kishan has jumped 10 places to reach the 33rd position. In the bowlers’ list, veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has moved up two places to 11th while left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh has moved up one place to 21st. Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has jumped eight places to reach the 40th position.

 

Indian legend Virat Kohli is the top Indian in the rankings for batsmen in ODIs with the sixth position. Captain Rohit Sharma remains at the eighth position. Injured Jasprit Bumrah is at 11th position in the bowlers’ list. Australia openers David Warner and Travis Head made a significant improvement in the batsmen’s rankings after a stupendous 269-run stand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the home series against England. Steve Smith, who was strong in the home series against England, also managed to equal his career-best ranking of seventh.
