Women’s cricket in India to reach all-time high in next three years: Ganguly
Abu Dhabi. Former BCCI (Cricket Board of India) President Sourav Ganguly says that women’s cricket in India will reach an all-time high in the next three years as the women’s team has shown excellent performance in the last few years. Speaking at the three-day annual conference ‘Natcon 2022’ of Indian realty’s apex body ‘CREDAI’ in Abu Dhabi on Friday, the former India captain said that the women’s team has played very well in the last few years. “Women’s cricket is at its peak. It will reach a different level in the next three years. We have done this in the last three years.

Ganguly said, “I was surprised to see the way he performed in the Commonwealth Games. The women’s team recently won the Asia Cup. They beat England 3-0 at home and it is not an easy task to do.” Ganguly said Indian women’s cricket will reach an all-time high in the next three years. The Indian women’s cricket team won the Asia Cup in Bangladesh by defeating Sri Lanka by eight wickets.

The women’s team won the country’s first silver medal in cricket at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier in the year. Last month, the BCCI had announced to pay equal match fees to its centrally contracted women’s and men’s players to promote gender equality.
