Farmers’ meeting will be held today

New Delhi. After the withdrawal of all three controversial agricultural laws, now the farmers’ movement is moving towards an end. However, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, has said that the agitation will continue and a decision will be taken in its meeting on December 4. Meanwhile, on December 1 also, farmers’ organizations have called a meeting. It is being told that in this meeting the agenda of the meeting to be held on December 4 will be decided. Earlier on Tuesday, Rakesh Tikait said that rumors of farmers returning home are being spread. He said that the farmer will not leave from here without returning the minimum support price and the case against the farmers. We have a meeting on 4th December. Meanwhile, leaders associated with the United Kisan Morcha said that on December 1, a meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held regarding the situation so far on the Singhu border. After that, after meeting on December 4, the further nature of the movement will be decided.

Earlier on Monday, a meeting of 32 jathebandis of Punjab was held at Kundli border. Dr. Darshanpal and other jathebandis discussed the issues related to farmers in this meeting after the bill for withdrawal of all the three laws was passed in Parliament. In the meeting, the jathebandis of Punjab said that now the plan to go back home should be worked out. It is believed that more talks will be held in this regard in the December 1 meeting.
