New Delhi. The farmers of the country will get an amount of two thousand rupees on the first day of the year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 10th installment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through video conferencing on January 1 at 12.30 pm. The Prime Minister’s Office has told that on January 1 An amount of more than 20 thousand crores will be transferred to the account of more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers.

Last year the installment under this scheme was released on December 25. But the installment of this scheme will be released on the first day of the year, just before the elections to be held in five states this year. Under the scheme, every fourth month an installment of two thousand rupees is given to all the landholder farmer families. An assistance of six thousand rupees is given to the farmers every year in three equal installments.
