Fiorentina stopped AC Milan’s winning streak

Fiorentina upset AC Milan’s run of four wins in a row. Nicolás González scored a penalty in the 49th minute to give Fiorentina the lead. After this, Jovic doubled the team’s lead in the 87th minute of the match on his brilliant cross.

Tho Hernandez scored a consolation goal for Milan shortly before the final whistle (90+5 minutes). In the other matches, Atalanta were held to a goalless draw by Udinese. The draw dealt a blow to Atalanta’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League. Monza beat Empoli 2-1 to register their first home win of the year.
