On the 27th, the government held a meeting of the Cyber Security Strategy Headquarters ( Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato ) at the Prime Minister’s Office and decided on the “next cyber security strategy” plan for the next three years. China, Russia and North Korea are specified for the first time as threats of cyberattacks. Announced cooperation with the United States, Australia, India, etc. The policy is to make a cabinet decision on the 28th as the next strategy.

Regarding the situation surrounding cyberspace, the strategic plan points out that “there is a risk of rapid development into a serious situation.” He named China, Russia, and North Korea as “cyber activities suspected of involving the state.” He emphasized that he would “take decisive action” by citing diplomatic means and criminal prosecution as a coping policy.
