Raipur. A patient of Omicron variant of Kovid-19 has been confirmed in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. Health Department officials said today that a 52-year-old man from Bilaspur district, who returned from the United Arab Emirates, was sent to the Institute of Life Sciences Bhubaneswar for genomic sequencing after his sample tested positive for corona. The Health Department has received the investigation report today in which the Omicron variant of Kovid-19 has been confirmed.
