France captain Hugo Lloris retires from international football

Paris. World Cup-winning France captain Hugo Lloris has retired from international football. Lloris, who played 145 matches for France, was the 2018 World Cup-winning captain and also captained the side that lost to Argentina in the final last month in Qatar. The 36-year-old goalkeeper told L’Equip newspaper that he would focus on playing for Tottenham in the English Premier League.
