Good news! 10th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on January 1, transfer of Rs 2,000 in accounts

New Delhi: Lakhs of eligible farmers are eagerly waiting for the 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a latest media report has confirmed that the benefit of Rs 2,000 under this scheme will be transferred on January 1. A report in India.com states that a message is being sent by the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Tomar to the eligible farmers that Rs 2,000 will be transferred to their accounts under PM Kisan Yojana on January 1, 2022. In the message sent to the farmers, it has been said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the next installment under PM Kisan Yojana on January 1, 2022 and will release equity grants to farmer producer organizations. PM Modi released 7th installment on 25 December

It is worth noting that on December 25 last year, PM Modi had released the 7th installment of PM-Kisan. PM Modi transferred Rs 18,000 crore to over 9 crore beneficiary farmer families via video conferencing on December 25, which is also the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme was launched by PM Modi in 2019. The objective of the scheme is to provide income support to all landholding farmer families across the country with cultivable land, subject to certain exclusions. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 per annum is released directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three 4-monthly installments of Rs 2000 each.

Three times installment of PM Kisan in a financial year ( PM Kisan Yojana)

In a financial year, PM Kisan installment is deposited thrice – from 1st April-July; period from August 2 to November; And the period from December 3 to March. Initially when the PM-Kisan scheme was launched (February, 2019), its benefits were admissible only to the families of small and marginal farmers who had a combined landholding of up to 2 hectares. The scheme was later revised in June 2019 and extended to all farmer families, irrespective of their holding size. The Central Government had notified the decision to give a benefit of Rs 6,000 per year to all 14.5 crore farmers of the country under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, irrespective of the size of their holdings.
