‘Gulf Giants’ launch jersey for inaugural season of ILT20

Gulf Giants, a team owned by Adani Sports Line, on Monday launched its jersey for the first season of the ‘World International League T20 (ILT20)’ to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). ILT20 will be held from 13 January 2023 to 12 February 2023 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. In the six-team league, the Gulf Giants will be led by James Vince while former Zimbabwe legend Andy Flower is the head coach of the team.

According to a release issued here, the team released its jersey through social media. Keeping with the franchise’s theme, the Gulf Giants’ jersey is orange with a gold collar. On it is a picture of the team’s insignia Falcon (hawk). Falcon is the national bird of the United Arab Emirates. The team will start their campaign in this league on January 15 against Abu Dhabi Knights. Gulf Giants squad: James Vince (c), Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Jordan, Chris Lynn, Tom Banton, Dominic Drakes, David Wiese, Liam Dawson, Jamie Overton, Qais Ahmed, Richard Gleeson, Ollie Pope, Rehan Ahmed, CP Rizwan, Ayan Afzal Khan, Sanchit Sharma, and Ashwanth Valthappa.
