Talking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut claimed that there is no scope for the BJP to return to power in Maharashtra for the next 25 years. Shiv Sena, which broke ties with the BJP after the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, is currently sharing power with the NCP and Congress in the state.
Raut also claimed that former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya, who had accused Shiv Sena workers of attacking him last week, had “applied tomato sauce to pretend to bleed”.
