Fed Cup: Shotput player Toor, Rani won gold in javelin

Reigning Asian Games champion shotputter Tejinderpal Singh Toor and Commonwealth Games bronze medalist javelin thrower Annu Rani won gold medals in their respective categories on the second day of the Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships. The 30-year-old Annu, however, could not match her personal best and shot 59.24m but that was enough to qualify for the upcoming Asian Championships.
