History will be repeated in Karnataka!

Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Delhi have one thing in common about the politics of BJP in these three states. Whenever the BJP government was formed in all the three states, three chief ministers have been changed. Assembly elections were held for the first time in Delhi in 1993 and the BJP government was formed. Then Madanlal Khurana became the Chief Minister. Later he was removed and Sahib Singh Verma was made the CM and just before the 1998 elections, Sushma Swaraj became the Chief Minister. Similarly, in Uttarakhand, the first government of BJP was formed in 2000, then in two years two Chief Ministers were made. First Nityanand Swami and then Bhagat Singh Koshyari. When the BJP government was formed for the second time in 2007, then three Chief Ministers were made. First Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri, then Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and then Khanduri. When the government was formed for the third time in 2017, first Trivendra Singh Rawat became the Chief Minister, then Tirath Singh Rawat and then Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The first BJP government in Karnataka was formed after the 2008 assembly elections and BS Yediyurappa became the chief minister. In between, DV Sadananda Gowda was made the Chief Minister by removing him and then Jagdish Shettar became the Chief Minister by removing him. BJP’s second government was formed in 2018 and BS Yediyurappa could not prove majority. But in the same assembly, Yeddyurappa again became the Chief Minister in 2019 after toppling the government of Congress and JDS. After two years, Basavaraj Bommai has been made the Chief Minister by replacing him. But it looks like the history of Karnataka will be repeated again. Discussions have begun to remove Bommai. Elections are to be held in Karnataka in May 2023 and it is believed that the state may change after the elections of five states next year. Although there is a denial from the BJP right now but who has seen the future.
