Neeraj Chopra to play in Diamond League’s Lausanne stage, Jesvin Aldrin and Sreesankar to participate in long jump

New Delhi. Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will take part in the Lausanne leg of the Diamond League on June 30 after recovering from a hamstring injury. The organizers have released the list of participating players in which Chopra’s name is also there. Apart from him, India’s Jesvin Aldrin and Sreesankar will compete in long jump.

India’s Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra will be challenged by Jakub Wallach of the Czech Republic and Julian Weber of Germany in the javelin throw, read the tournament’s official website. Paavo Nurmi withdrew from the Games on 13 June in Finland.
