ICC rankings: Richa Ghosh moves up four places in ICC Women’s T20 rankings

Dubai. Indian wicket-keeper batsman Richa Ghosh, who scored an unbeaten 40 off 19 balls in the fourth T20 International cricket match against Australia, has moved up four places to 40th position in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings for batsmen. India’s Deepti Sharma has moved up one place to 32nd position after the weekly update of the rankings. Australia all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner has also improved her ranking after contributing significantly to her team’s seven-run win in the fourth match on Saturday to take an unassailable lead in the five-match series.

Apart from scoring 42 runs in this match, Gardner also took two wickets. She has moved up one place to ninth in the batsmen’s list. In the bowlers’ list, however, she has jumped nine places to reach the 17th position. She moved up one place to fourth in the list of all-rounders. This weekly update covers the third and fourth matches of the series between India and Australia and the second, third and fourth matches of the West Indies and England. In the batsmen’s list, Sophia Dunkley has gained 19 places to reach 12th position while Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry has gained 17 places to reach 34th position.
