If you do not put FASTag in your car, you will be in trouble! Know important information

For information, let us tell you that if you do not have FASTag yet, then you can get it offline or online from any government bank or FASTag provider. Whether it is a government bank like State Bank or a private bank like Axis Bank.

As the country is progressing, the transport facility is also progressing rapidly. ‘FASTag’ has an important contribution in making this transport facility smooth. Earlier, where long queues of vehicles were seen on the toll road and due to those queues not only the time of the people was lost, but there was a lot of damage to the environment along with the loss of fuel.

At the same time, after the arrival of Fastag, people have got rid of these things. In this sequence, let us tell you that from December 1, National Highway toll plazas across the country will work only through ‘Electronic Toll Collection System’.

Meaning now FASTag has been made mandatory from 1st December in any case. The special thing is that if a vehicle without FASTag enters the FASTag line, then they will have to pay 2 times toll tax.

Who does not know that as soon as your vehicle goes to the toll plaza, the tech reader scans and reads your FASTag, after that automatically the toll tax is deducted from your account. Till now it was optional, but from 1st December it has become necessary.

Whether it is a government bank like State Bank or a private bank like Axis Bank. Even you can easily get it from Paytm Payment Bank, Airtel Payment Bank etc.

Apart from this, you will easily get this FASTag option at all the petrol pumps even near the national highway. For this, you need your KYC document, identity card, registration certificate, passport size photo etc. After that it is easily provided to you.

To activate it, you have to give your and your vehicle information in ‘My FASTag App’, then to recharge it, you have to login to FASTag portal with your User ID and Wallet ID.

Most of the banks have created a separate subdomain for this and you will easily get information about all the procedures on that subdomain.

It can also be recharged through UPI Credit Card, Net Banking, Debit Card, NEFT. Keep in mind that if you haven’t got this activated on your vehicle by December 1, then get ready to pay a double fine.
