IND vs SA: India’s one-sided win, beat South Africa in the third ODI, 2-1 on the series

India and South Africa have won 2-1 in the three ODI series. In the last match played in Delhi, India has won a one-sided victory. Team India captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first. The entire team of South Africa was all out for 99 runs. India had to score 100 runs to win. India achieved the target of 100 runs in 19.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Shubman Gill scored the most runs for India. Gill scored 49 runs with the help of 8 fours. Captain Shikhar Dhawan could contribute only 8 runs. The same Ishan Kishan was also dismissed after scoring 10 runs. Later a good partnership was formed between Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill. Shreyas Iyer was seen in a lot of rhythm even in today’s match.

With this win, India have won the series 2-1 in three ODIs. The first match was played in Lucknow which was affected by rain. India was defeated in this match. At the same time, the strength of Indian bowling was also seen today. India’s young bowlers bowled out the entire South African team for 99 runs in 27.1 overs. Washington Sundar 2, Mohammad Siraj 2, Shahbaz Ahmed 2 and Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets. While bowling 4.1 overs, Kuldeep Yadav made 1 maiden and took 4 wickets for 18 runs.

Heinrich Klaasen (34) was the top scorer for South Africa. Apart from him, only openers Jaaneman Malan (15) and Marco Jensen (14) could reach double digits. This is the second lowest score for South Africa this year. Earlier, the team was bundled out for just 83 runs against England in Manchester on 22 July. South Africa had a very poor start and the team lost three wickets for only 26 runs in 10 overs and the team never recovered from it. The pitch was helping the bowlers after two consecutive days of rain. India defeated the bowler’s debut against Washington. He got Quinton de Kock (06) caught by Avesh Khan in his second and third over of the innings itself.
