India lost 4-5 to Australia in the fifth hockey test, lost the series 1-4

India suffered a 4-5 defeat against Australia in the fifth and final hockey Test here on Sunday, losing the five-match series 1-4. Tom Wickham (2nd and 17th minute) scored twice for Australia, while Aren Jelewski (30th minute), Jacob Anderson (40th minute) and Jake Wetton (54th minute) also scored one goal each for the hosts.

For India, captain Harmanpreet Singh (24th and 60th minutes) scored twice while Amit Rohidas (34th minute) and Sukhjit Singh (55th minute) scored one goal each. India won the third match 4-3 after losing the first two matches 4-5 and 4-7. In the fourth match, the visiting team had to face defeat by 1-5.
