India Vs New Zealand: Rain intervenes in the second ODI, play stopped again

Play was stopped for the second time due to rain during the second ODI between India and New Zealand here on Sunday. India were 89 for one in 12.5 overs when play was stopped for the second time due to rain. At the time of stopping the game, opener Shubman Gill was playing on 45 while Suryakumar Yadav was playing on 34 runs.

When the game was stopped for the first time, India scored 22 runs in 4.5 overs without losing a wicket. The match resumed after a delay of about four hours and was reduced to 29 overs. The number of overs is set to be cut further if the match resumes due to play being stopped again.
