Indian Super League: FC Goa beat Odisha FC 3-0

Madgaon. FC Goa scored three goals in the last 16 minutes of the match to beat Odisha FC 3-0, playing with 10 players, in an Indian Super League football match here on Saturday. Nandkumar Sekar was forced to leave the field in the 65th minute of the match. The referee showed the Odisha player a second yellow card, which automatically converted into a red card, for a foul on FC Goa captain Brendan Fernandez. Goa team had the advantage of being short of one player in the opposition camp.

Brisson Fernandes (74th), Noah Vel Sadaoui (78th) and Alvaro Vazquez (90th) scored for Goa to seal the win. With this win, the team has moved from sixth to fifth position in the points table. FC Goa have 15 points from nine matches with five wins and four losses. At the same time, Odisha’s team remains at the fourth position despite its third defeat. Odisha FC have 18 points from nine matches with six wins and three losses.
