I-League Football: Srinidhi Deccan beat Mohammedan Sporting 4-3 in a thrilling encounter

David Castaneda scored twice in nine minutes as Srinidhi Deccan came from behind to beat Mohammedan Sporting 4-3 in the I-League football tournament here on Thursday. In the second half of the match, Sheikh Faiz’s goal in the 66th minute increased Mohammedan Sporting’s lead to 3-1. However, the team’s defense collapsed after that and Srinidhi Deccan took the lead with three goals in 11 minutes. Achal Mohammed scored in the 69th minute, followed by Castaneda’s goals in the 71st and 80th minutes to seal the victory for the team.
