INDvsNZ: New Zealand won the first T20, beat the hosts by 21 runs

The New Zealand team won the first match of the T20 series between India and New Zealand by a margin of 21 runs. In this first match, the New Zealand team easily defeated the Indian team. Earlier in the ODI series played, the New Zealand team had to face a 3-0 defeat. On the other hand, New Zealand has avenged the defeat by winning the first T20 match.

 

Indian team player Arshdeep Singh proved to be very expensive in this match. He gave away 27 runs in the last over, which helped New Zealand’s score to reach 177 instead of 160.

According to the information, while batting first, the New Zealand team had given the target of 177 runs to the Indian team. The early wickets of the Indian team were dealt with very cheaply. Three wickets of the Indian team had returned to the pavilion for 15 runs. At the same time, Surya Kumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya made the Indian team’s innings possible and shared 68 runs in 51 balls for the fourth wicket. But in the meantime, Surya Kumar Yadav returned to the pavilion after hitting a big shot.

The first T20 match between the two teams was played in Ranchi on January 27, in which India had to face defeat. After this, the second T20 match will be held in Lucknow on 29 January. And the third T20 match is to be played in Ahmedabad on February 1. With a win in this series, the Indian team will go into the field to maintain their rhythm.
