Tendulkar remembers his friend Warne on his first death anniversary

On his first death anniversary, legendary bowler Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar remembered his ‘great friend’ in touching words. One of the greatest spinners of all time, Warne had died on this day last year following a heart attack while on holiday in Thailand. Tendulkar took to social media to remember the days he spent with Warne. He also posted a picture in which these two legendary cricketers are talking to each other.

Tendulkar wrote on Twitter on Saturday, “We have had some memorable matches on the field and some memorable moments off the field as well. I am missing not only a great cricketer but also a great friend. I am sure that with your sense of humor and charisma, you will be making even heaven a more attractive place to be.’ Tendulkar and Warne faced each other in 29 international matches. Warne dismissed Tendulkar on four of these occasions.
