CM Kejriwal announces ‘Yellow’ alert in Delhi, more restrictions are coming soon

New Delhi | Coronavirus Yellow Alert Delhi: In view of the rapidly increasing corona infection case and Omicron case in the capital Delhi, the Kejriwal government of Delhi is on alert mode. In such a situation, CM Arvind Kejriwal has decided to implement Yellow Alert in Delhi. Kejriwal has said that Delhi has 0.5 percent positivity rate in the last few days and we are implementing Level-1 of Graded Response Action Plan i.e. Yellow Alert. Let us inform that, DDMA has imposed night curfew in the capital, which will continue from 11 pm to 5 am till further orders.

Graded response action plan implemented
Coronavirus Yellow Alert Delhi: Every day increasing new corona patients and Omicron variant patients in Delhi have increased the fear of third wave. So far 165 cases of Omicron have been reported in Delhi. At the same time, the CM said that this time we are 10 times ready to deal with Corona and Graded Response Action Plan will be implemented in Delhi. With this, a detailed order of restrictions will be implemented soon. There is no need to panic about Omicron. There is a huge crowd in the markets at this time but people are not wearing masks. People will have to wear masks.

What Happens in ‘Yellow’ Alert
The Delhi government has issued a ‘yellow alert’ to control the rising corona cases. Explain that ‘Yellow’ alert is issued when the infection rate remains more than 0.5 percent for two consecutive days. In such a situation, to control it, night curfew, closure of schools-colleges, opening of shops of non-essential goods except emergency and essential commodities shops on odd-even basis and seating capacity of passengers in metro trains and public transport buses. Measures like halving are adopted.
