Indian players practiced a day after the loss to Australia

A day after Australia suffered a crushing defeat in the third Test cricket match, some players of the Indian team practiced hard for about 90 minutes at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday. Opener Shubman Gill, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer, all-rounders Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav took part in the nets in the presence of head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour. The third Test match between India and Australia was played on a very turning wicket.

Australia won this match in the first session itself on the third day. India is currently leading 2-1 in the four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy. While Kuldeep Yadav bowled for long periods in the nets, the other four players took batting practice against local bowlers and throw-downs. The batsmen did not experiment by playing any kind of new shot but batted normally. The players would be looking to find their rhythm ahead of the fourth and final Test match starting on March 9 in Ahmedabad.
